Amazon FBA Calculator

Free Amazon FBA calculator: check the FBA fulfilment fee, referral fee and net receipts for any product on Amazon's European marketplaces before you ship.

How to Use the Amazon FBA Calculator

  1. Pick your product category. It sets the referral fee rate.
  2. Choose the fulfilment network, the country your stock ships from and the marketplace it sells to.
  3. Enter the selling price, the weight in grams and the dimensions in centimetres, in any order.
  4. Click Calculate Fees.

The results show the referral fee and its rate, the size tier Amazon puts your product in, the shipping weight the fee is based on, the FBA fulfilment fee, the total Amazon fees, and your net receipts after VAT.

What Amazon Charges on Each Sale

Amazon takes two fees out of every FBA sale:

  • The referral fee is a percentage of the selling price, set by product category. Most categories sit between 8% and 15%, and some change rate above a price threshold.
  • The FBA fulfilment fee is a flat fee per unit, set by the size tier and the shipping weight. Bigger and heavier tiers cost more.

Total Amazon fees = referral fee + FBA fulfilment fee

Seller net receipts = selling price - VAT - referral fee - FBA fulfilment fee

Two details catch many sellers out:

  • Dimensional weight. For parcels, Amazon charges on whichever is greater: the actual unit weight or the dimensional weight, which is the parcel volume (length x width x height in cm) divided by 5,000. A large, light product can land in a costlier tier than its weight suggests.
  • VAT. Enter the price the customer pays. The calculator takes out VAT at the rate of the marketplace you sell in before it works out your net receipts, so the numbers match what actually lands in your account.

The calculator covers the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Belgium and Ireland, using the Amazon European rate card effective 1 February 2026. It leaves out storage fees and optional services; for the full list of what Amazon charges, read Amazon Fees Explained.

To turn these fees into profit per unit, add your costs in the Amazon Profit Calculator.

Which Fulfilment Network to Pick

NetworkWhere your stock sitsFees you pay
Local / DomesticOne country, sold in the same countryDomestic fees, the cheapest
Pan-EuropeanAmazon moves it across Europe as demand needsLocal fees in each country you enable
EFNOne country, orders arrive from across EuropeCross-border fee on every non-domestic sale
MCIYou place stock in several countries yourselfDomestic fees where you have stock, cross-border where you do not

Run the same product under two networks and compare the total fees. If you sell across Europe with stock in one country only, EFN shows the price of that convenience.

Oversize products on Pan-European can also carry a Pan-EU oversize surcharge; the calculator adds it when it applies.
