No Dashboard Answers That Question

Amazon gives you totals, over a short window. Campaign totals, ad group totals, 60 days.

A total tells you what happened. It never tells you whether it was good, or what to do next.

Your agency says the account is doing well. Your software says what it says to everybody. Both may be right. You have no way to check.

This audit is the check. An independent read on your account, and a written roadmap of what to do next.

Which One Are You?

You work brand side, and an agency runs the advertising

You report on the numbers, so you carry the results without controlling them.

You want to know whether the agency is getting the best results available, or only acceptable ones.

The audit answers that from outside the relationship, with the numbers behind it. And it does not cost you the agency.

You run it yourself, with software

The tool gives you data and a recommendation. What it cannot give you is a second opinion, because it applies the same approach to every account, whatever yours is actually doing.

So you are left asking whether your approach is right, or whether better results are sitting there unclaimed.

We have also yet to find one piece of software that treats Amazon match types the way Amazon treats them. That alone changes what its recommendations are worth.

You run it yourself, and the Amazon data is fighting you

You did not want an agency. You want to keep control.

But the reports confuse more than they explain, the numbers contradict each other, and there is no obvious next move.

That was us. What you need is not more data. It is a roadmap from somebody who has run Amazon advertising at this scale, with the reasoning attached, so your next decision is a decision and not a guess.

What You Get

Plus The Short Summary

The changes to make, in order, each with the reason for it. Read this one if you only want to know what to do next. It runs to a few pages, not a few dozen.

    What we optimise for

    1. Profit, not a lower ACoS. ACoS is a useful number. It is not the goal.
    2. Every ad at break-even or better. Tactical spend, such as a launch, is the exception.
    3. Never stop a profitable sale.

    Which forces one rule

    Never decide from combined data.

Combining mixes the profitable with the unprofitable. One decision then kills both.

    What combining looks like

    • Deciding at campaign level
    • Deciding at ad group level
    • Adding data together until dayparting has enough of it
    • Deciding at keyword level, unless the match type is exact

Exact match is the one safe case. There the keyword and its consolidated search term are the same thing, so nothing gets mixed.

    The order of work

What you bid on is the foundation. What you bid is the refinement.

Most tools start at the refinement.

    What The Audit Covers

We work from your search term data, at consolidated search term level. Not campaign level. Not ad group level. That is the level where waste shows up without putting profitable sales at risk.

    • Wasted spend - search terms taking clicks and spend with no sales, above a threshold where acting on it is safe.
    • Negative exact match safety check - on Amazon, “exact” does not mean exact. Singular and plural forms collapse into one match, and stop words such as of, for and the are ignored. One careless negative exact blocks every variation, including your best seller. Nothing warns you.
    • Lost profit opportunities - terms that sold profitably inside the period we can see, and that no longer take traffic.
    • Break-even analysis - which ads run above your break-even ACoS, and by how much.
    • Structure findings - where your account forces you to decide from combined data, and what to change so that it stops.

    One Fixed Fee

No retainer. No percentage of ad spend.

Your monthly Amazon PPC spendAudit fee
    Up to $20,000 per month$875
    More than $20,000 per month$1,275

The fee covers one Amazon advertising account in one marketplace. Ask us for a quote if you need more than one.

    The Guarantee

Implement everything we recommend. Then, over the next 30 days, if your Amazon sales minus your PPC costs do not improve by at least the cost of the audit, we refund your fee in full.

Most advertisers make many times that. Month after month.

We measure it against the 30 days before the date of your audit report, using the figures Amazon reports.

Find Out What Your Account Is Really Doing

One fixed fee. The full analysis, plus a short summary of what to change and why.

    Who Runs Your Audit

I do it myself. Not an account manager, and not a template.

    • I started selling on Amazon.co.uk in 2013, and started Amazon advertising in 2014.
    • I built A Quarter Of into the leading UK retro sweets brand: 8 figures of sales, peaks above £1 million in a single December, and multiple products at BSR #1 across the whole Amazon Grocery department.
    • I reached 7 figures of sales from Amazon ads alone.
    • I worked out how Amazon exact match really treats singular, plural and stop word variations, then built the consolidated search term method around it.
    • I built AdRazor to run that method on my own accounts, years before it was sold to anyone else.

    How It Works

    1. You send the form below.
    2. We quote the fee and tell you the one or two things we need.
    3. You give us access to your Amazon advertising account, and send any reports you hold.
    4. You get the full analysis and the summary.

You decide what to change, and you make the changes. We change nothing in your live account.

What We Can See, And What We Need

This decides what the audit can answer, so we say it before you pay.

You give us access to your Amazon advertising account. From that point we receive what the Amazon Advertising API releases to us, and Amazon limits how far back that reaches. We hold no history of your account before you connect, and nobody can get it for you afterwards.

So the audit runs on two sources: the data Amazon releases to us, and any reports you already hold - search term reports, bulk files, exports, from any date.

The more history you send, the further back the audit reaches. Long-term and seasonal findings need older data, and they are only possible if that data exists. If you hold none, the audit still runs on the window Amazon gives us, and the report says which questions we could not answer and why.

From the day you connect, AdRazor adds your data every 24 hours and keeps it. That builds the history that is missing today, ready for next time.
